With the popularity of stainless steel products and appliances currently in the market place, cleaning products have been developed to make their care and up keep very easy for residential & commercial clients alike.  SJB recommend gentle, non abrasive cleaning with soap & water & a soft cloth.  This can be followed with a specialised stainless steel cleaner & repellent.  These cleaners are available from the cleaning aisle of the supermarket & are great for polishing off fingerprints & protecting the item from further marks.

Yes.  Scratches in stainless steel can be professionally removed but it is better to avoid scratching initially.  Use perforated rubber or plastic mats in the sink to prevent scratching & marking from pans & cutlery.

Wash your benchtop with a solution of hand dish washing detergent & water, rinse & polish dry with a soft cloth.  Never use harsh abrasives or cleaners like scouring powders, steel wool pads, muratic acids or hypochlorite bleaches.  Certain foods containing acid can also damage stainless steel including, citric fruit juices, salt, vinegar, mustard, pickles, and mayonnaise.
